A straightforward process from idea to launch.
Building a website doesn’t need to feel complicated. I’ll guide you through each step, from domain and hosting setup to design, development, testing and launch, so you always know what’s happening and what comes next.

Discovery
We’ll start with a conversation about your business, your audience and what you need your website to accomplish. We’ll go over pages, functionality, style preferences and any ideas you already have.

Domain and Hosting
If you already have a domain and hosting, I’ll work with your existing setup. If you don’t, I’ll help you choose and configure what you need while keeping your domain and accounts in your name. Check out this blog post to see my recommendations for hosting and domain options.

Content and Direction
Next, we’ll gather the pieces that make the website represent you and your business. Including your logo, colors, photos, written content and inspiration. From there, I’ll establish the structure and visual direction for the site.

Design and Development
This is where the website takes shape. I’ll build the layouts, responsive behavior, navigation, forms, SMTP to make sure forms get to your inbox, pagespeed, webmaster tools and functionality while making sure everything works smoothly across desktop, tablet and mobile.

Review and Refinement
You’ll have a chance to review the working website and send feedback. We’ll refine the details, make adjustments and get everything ready for launch.

Launch
Once everything is approved, I’ll launch your website on your host and connect it to your domain. I’ll also test links and forms, check responsive layouts and make sure everything is working as expected.

Ongoing Support
Need changes later? We can provide ongoing QA and maintenance for your existing site, including broken link checks, content updates, functionality improvements, as well as other adjustments as your website and business continue to grow.
